1. *Remove
4 screws holding windshield in place.
2. *Remove
2 screws immediately under the windshield.
3. Remove
mirrors and unplug turn signal bulb housing, disconnect wires to bulb
holder.
4. Remove
12 screws holding instrument panel cover in place.
5. Pry and
pop loose the panel cover.
6. *Disconnect
(up to 4) electrical connectors at left rear of panel.
7. Remove
mirror-mounting bolts (3 on each side). (#2
below)
8. Insert
t/signal wires thru large hole of bracket, and position brackets in place,
securing with mirror mounting bolts. (#1 & 2
below)
9. Install
wiring harness for driving lights, running +/- wires thru same hole as
turn signal wires.
10. Mount
and finish connecting your driving lights and reconnect your wiring harness
to left rear of dash panel cover.
11. Remount
your panel cover *(12 screws in panel face
+ 2 screws in the front of the fairing). (#1
below)
12. Reconnect
your t/signal bulb housing to wiring harness and plug into mirrors.
13. Place
a couple pieces of ¼" foam tape adjacent to the three mounting-bolt heads.
14. Remount
your mirrors. (#3
below)
15. Remount
the windshield. *
and (#1
below)
16. Go have
a nice day.
(1) When fastening any part, you must follow the Mfg.'s torque
spec. (2) 3mm Allen socket, 8mm-open/box-end wrench and long needle-nose
pliers suggested. (3) Depending on the gauge of the wiring, you should
be able to run them thru the gap between the mirror and the bodywork.
Don't forget to install a quick-disconnect, somewhere here.
